This road centerline layer contains the newest available road geometry and primary road names for every known, public road in Kansas. It is intended specifically for placing crashes using the KDOT Kansas Crash Data System and will be updated periodically (at a frequency not yet determined). Please note that KDOT relies on updates to road centerlines from the Kansas Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) system for roads off of the State Highway System (which includes only interstates, US Highways and Kansas Highways). Updates made via the NG9-1-1 system for roads off the State Highway System may take months to be reflected in this layer. |
