Service Description: This dataset consists of all the bridges on the Kansas state highway system that have a specific weight in tons posted on a sign. All vehicles exceeding the specified weights are prohibited. Bridges are classified as structures greater than 20 feet in length. Data entry of initial inventory came from construction plans. Data has been maintained by Bridge Management through field inspections and inventory. Inventory of state system bridges is on a 2 year or less cycle.
