Service Description: This dataset presents selected monthly, daily and hourly summaries of traffic counts collected at continuously-operated Automatic Traffic Recorder stations (ATRs). ATR data are used to calculate seasonal and daily factors for adjusting short-term traffic counts to estimate AADT. ATR data are also used to calculate design hour volumes for traffic analysis of peak hour flows, and yearly estimates of traffic growth. ATR locations are chosen to represent a variety of roadway traffic patterns on the State Highway System, County Rural Secondary System, Urban Arterial System and State Parks.
