Service Description: Traffic Lane details including Lane Type Description: Thru Lanes, Accessory Lanes (climbing, turning, passing, weaving) and Parking Lanes (diagonal, parallel), Lane Width (in meters) and Lane Position (Cross sectional position starting from the right lane/driving lane based on divided facility and direction of travel) along the state highway system.
Medians - Medians are shown by Median Type, median widths are provided for non-barrier medians. Median information is referenced by the primary direction (NB, EB) of travel along the state highway system. Rumble Strips - Rumble strips are a safety feature that altert drivers exiting the lane designated for normal vehicle operations. Shoulders - There are many combinations of Shoulder Width and Type, shoulders are located by Cross sectional Position (XSP) relative to the direction of travel (Lane Direction). For this service, Shoulders are broken into paved, curbed, and unpaved. Shoulders that are partially or fully paved are broken into 4 width classifications.
